Two lefties dominated this year's Open - Derek Billings and John Child. Derek managed to hold off John Child with a 1059 rated 3rd round - which was tough to beat and managed to beat John by 4. The next best score was 11 behind John, so the lefties definitely dominated.
In the other divisions the locals fared very well with Matty Angel, David Rawson and Lewis Bitney wining their respective divisions.
Patrick Brown easily handled the Masters division winning by 10, but local Tom Z managed 2nd and Jackson cashed in 4th.
Jeff Fiedler dominated Grandmasters by 12 shots and part time local Dave Malolepsky managed 2nd place.
Rob Frias continuted his bagging in Advanced, winning by 5. We hope he goes pro !
