The 2010 Ice Bowl was a success. 51 people played and w e raised $305 and 344# of food for the Marin Community food bank! Great job everyone. Greg Goben took home the prize for most food donated with Jeff Perdelwitz, David and Duncan Delsecco, Warren The Whip, and several others, giving him some serious competition this year. Thank you to Ed Levine and Jackson Ratcliffe for their extra cash donations. Another thanks (in advance) to Jackson for posting the results on the Stafford website. I would also like to thank my daughter, Hope, for her help around tournament central.

The 2007 Stafford Lake Open was a great success. The sun was shining, the course was in magnificent shape, and fun was had by all. John Child was the Open winner with an impressive -4 on the long course, -8 on the temp course, and even on the LOONNGGG course on Sunday. For details of all the other divisions, check out the tournament results We played two courses. The traditional course AND a temporary course in the location used in past tournaments. The setup along the banks of Stafford Lake was nixed due to a rave going on. Click the image below to get the sign up form and get registered as we have to limit this tourney to 144 players. The 2008 Turkey Shoot was a major success. The weather was perfect, the course was magnificent and the tournament director did a great job - thanks Jimmy !
The Open Division was won by team Cancer Child, with Roger Cansler and John Child. They managed an impressive 21 under Stafford 'par' 54 over the two rounds with an epic battle in the second round with the reigning Woman's world champ Valerie Jenkins and her brother, Avery, who's no slouch either. The match was tight until the 16th when team Jenkins got a pair of bad rolls and bogied when the handicaped child managed a birdie.
